Trace heating- Thermal insulation-Technical textiles

The field of application of technical textiles is wide-ranging.

Thermally durable textile structures are used, for example, in the plastics and chemical industries, shipbuilding and its service providers, but also in microtechnology, in research as heat protection for the user, and as a heat-retaining structure with enormous energy-saving potential.

Contact us, we are looking forward to finding the perfect solution for you.

Project planning

At the beginning there is the definition.

We accompany you through all phases of planning. Let's take a look at an example of how we could support your project:

The request of an industrial company for the project planning of a textile heat protection insulation.
An exhaust gas turbocharger, which is sold in quantities of 5000 per year, is to be brought into a temperature range that does not affect the surrounding units by means of a removable insulating sleeve.

  1. Detailed study of the problem (measurement on the object)
  2. Measurement by: Preset, hand measurement, 3D laser measurement
  3. 3D construction of the customer geometry
  4. Calculation of the necessary heat retention
  5. Choice of textile surfaces and closure technology according to temp. criteria
  6. 3D construction of the overlying insulation, temperature simulation
  7. Submission of data and results for approval / 2D templates
  8. Initial sample creation and passport control on the object
  9. Test run under documentation / discussion of the results
  10. Adaptation of the results and changes, if necessary
  11. Cost plan and subsequent order confirmation by customer
  12. After customer approval, prepare documentation for production
  13. Calculation, area consumption, labour values and material requirements
  14. Data transfer to production site
  15. Sample for submission Quality control, after o.k. Release by us
  16. Ongoing production monitoring and quality control
